Vor kurzem bekam ich schöne Hornbrillen Grüße von der Vulkaneifel zugesendet. Nach diesem Gruß war mir dann sofort klar – ich brauche Hilfe. Jetzt bitte! Denn wo soll diese sogenannte „Vulkaneifel“ überhaupt sein? Ein wenig Recherche hat gezeigt, dass diese Landschaft durch den Vulkanismus geprägt und wegen ihrer geologischen Erscheinungsform eine Landschaft ist, die es in Deutschland sonst nicht gibt. „Genießen wo es am Schönsten ist“ oder „Leben wo andere Urlaub machen“ sind einige Slogans die diesen Landkreis in Deutschland schmücken. Und nach vielen Klicks, beeindruckenden Artikeln und atemberaubenden Bildern muss ich gestehen, dass dieses Naturwunder wirklich was ganz besonders ist.

Hornbrillen als Understatement

Auf dem Shooting trage ich Modelle aus den verschiedenen Kollektionen von Hoffmann. Als Träger liebt man das Gefühl echte Natur in seinem Gesicht zu haben, die die Persönlichkeit vielmehr unterstreichen, als sich im Gesicht aufzudrängen. Horn to be wild – but how?

Naturhorn gehört zu den ältesten und bewährtesten Brillen-Werkstoffen der Welt. Hoffmann Natural Eyewear verwendet das Horn des asiatischen Wasserbüffels, bei dem Maserungen und Färbungen einzigartig zu entdecken sind. Hornbrillen

Schon seit gut eineinhalb Jahren schreibe ich nun am meinen Brillenblog www.faceprint.at und ich wundere mich gerade selbst darüber, dass ich bis dato noch keinen einzigen Beitrag über Hornbrillen gepostet wurde. Aber lieber spät als nie und dann lieber auch noch weitere Beiträge im Jahr 2018. Brillen aus Horn haben in der Branche derzeit einen sehr hohen Stellenwert und auch ich habe meine Leidenschaft für dieses Material vor kurzem entdeckt. Wer eine Hornbrille kauft bzw. besitzt weiß, dass diese Brille gehegt und gepflegt werden muss. Dass diese Brille mehr ist als „nur“ ein Brille. Das diese Brillen leben und dass sie ein wunder unserer Natur sind. Wie ihr wisst, besuche ich jedes Jahr die Opti Messe in München. Dieses Wochenende findet die Messe wieder statt und ich freue mich schon sehr, euch meine Eindrücke zu präsentieren.
